FOX HOLLOW SCHOOL

SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS

Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.

SCHOOL-LEVEL FACTORS

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports

This year, Fox Hollow Elementary has put in place Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (P.B.I.S.) to establish the social culture and the behavior supports needed for all children to achieve both social and academic success (Sugai & Horner, 2002). PBIS is a system intended to create an environment for great first teaching, high levels of learning and improved behavior within general and special education classroom settings.
