SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS
Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.

SCHOOL-LEVEL FACTORS
Tier 2 instruction tailored to our needs
At Shadow Valley Elementary, we believe that it is our responsibility to provide the best instruction possible and to allow our students to receive the support that they need to be successful. While assuring the quality of our tier one instruction, we also look at tier 2 instruction as a way to immediately intervene when needed. In order to achieve our vision, we have conducted an extensive evaluation of our current practices and have restructured our priorities as follow: Goal 1: Instruction in each classroom 100% of the teachers accountable to set time aside for tier 2 100% of the teachers collect weekly data on intervention 100% of the teachers being trained in best practice in small group instruction Goal 2: Deficiency identified and targeted Correct tools selected to identify deficiency and to teach target skills Weekly data collected/ progress monitoring Multiple sources of data were collected and used as a prevention to potential issues (Panorama, educator handbook, CFA, CIA,...) Goal 3: Reflection Weekly team meeting to report best practices and progress (accountability) What is our next step? What is needed to meet our goals? By implementing these practices with fidelity, we believe that our students will be better prepared and happier because they will feel successful.
