SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS

Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.

INSTRUCTIONAL FACTORS

Tier 2/Tier 3 Intervention

Teachers collaborate weekly to determine which students need additional support through Tier 2/Tier 3 instruction. Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction is designed specifically and intentionally by the classroom teacher and Intervention support staff to target gaps in student academics.


SCHOOL-LEVEL FACTORS

Chinese Immersion School

We are part of a Dual Language Immersion program at Riverview. The Chinese program has been a way for students to engage in critical thinking and problem solving. These skills help them critically think in many academic areas, not just in the targeted language.
