MCPOLIN SCHOOL

SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS

Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.

INSTRUCTIONAL FACTORS

Las Links

Our school is full Spanish Dual Immersion. This means that every student spends half of their day in English instruction and half of their day in Spanish instruction. We needed an assessment to track their Spanish progress, understand each student's needs, and how to address the needs of students who are above proficiency or below proficiency in small groups. We started using Las Links about a year ago and the teachers have been able to diagnose the needs of their students and understand how to continue to see growth. This has been such a great tool for them. Here is a graph that shows October 2023 and then February 2024:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MHBMHZvEKCQulujMQcbLoz0-EC5UJGPEv8Fd0O3fze8/edit

SCHOOL-LEVEL FACTORS

PBIS

Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) The level of implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) is assessed through the Tiered Fidelity Inventory. Below is a chart that shows the implementation progress over the last three years, showing that schoolwide PBIS is occurring consistently. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1nOrxr7aY07s5NCYUsfKQ_Vb7k6_TLzPMAeMFa4kd9SI/edit
