SELF-REPORTED INDICATORS
Schools may choose to describe up to two additional pieces of information about how their school is supporting students. These self-reported indicators are not factored into school accountability calculations but provide the opportunity for schools to highlight successful programs or practices in addition to the indicators included in school accountability.
EQUITABLE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Extension Classes and Push In Services
We have used funds such as Land Trust and TSSA to supplement push-in-tutorial services and content link classes for our MLL students as well as extended math classes for students that need the services. This has helped some of our more vulnerable populations to hit or exceed growth targets and proficiencies across the disciplines.
EQUITABLE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Advisory and iTime
Students begin every day in advisory to help them map out their weekly activities, have in-depth socio-emotional learning opportunities (We All Belong, Move this World, and other school specific initiatives). In addition, there are 30 minutes built in Monday-Thursday for students to receive Multi-Tiered Systems of Support in core classes and elective. In addition, students also receive enrichment learning during this time.
